Creator pilot

Pressvigil is opening to 20 creators.
We're picking by hand.

The pilot is a small first room — twenty independent creators chosen by the team over a few sittings, not by signal. We read every application. We sit with what is familiar and what isn't, and we write back either way, within about two weeks.

Every submission read by hand. A personal note in about two weeks — whether you're in or not.

What we're looking for

Four things, none of them a number.

The pilot is shaped around how the people in it work, not around how their numbers read. We use these four small things to make a longlist over a slow week, then a shortlist by hand over another. The list is small on purpose — twenty is small on purpose.

Independent practice

You do the making yourself — no studio behind a name, no overnight content crew. The pilot is built around the people who actually do the work; the ones whose hands the work passes through.

Willing to share process

A creator who can write about a shoot, a fold, a build or a draft is more useful to the rest of the room than a wall of finished frames. Process notes are part of the metadata of craft, and we'd like to read more of them.

Publishing in good faith

You intend to keep publishing — weekly, monthly, seasonally — not as a launch campaign. The pilot rewards rhythm, not virality. A post every Friday for a year matters more here than a torrent on a single Tuesday.

Audience is informational

Tell us roughly how big the room is, but it's not a filter. Some of the strongest first posts on quiet networks come from people with three followers who genuinely care to read each one.

What you'll get

Three things, only when they are useful.

The pilot runs on the same rules as the rest of the network. There isn't a special tier for it, and no "creator mode" that quietly turns the quiet promises off.

  • A quiet first room

Twenty creators, picked by hand. The same four promises the rest of Pressvigil stands on apply here — no infinite feed, no rank, no engagement bait to chase.

  • A monthly feedback loop

A small, written note from the team every month — what is working, what is heavy, what we are noticing. Not a metrics sheet. You can reply.

  • Early access to plumbing

Subscriptions, paid posts and tips settle directly between you and your followers, with no platform cut. You build it before anyone else does, and we sit next to you while it does.

What we're asking

Four small things, no essay.

The form below asks for four fields — a name we can write to, the link where your work lives, the medium you make in, and an approximate audience size. There is no brief, no writing prompt, no headshot. Everything else we learn about you by reading what you publish.

  • Creator name. The one people know you by. A pseudonym is fine if it is the one you publish under.
  • Primary platform link. Your site, store, feed or social — wherever your work currently lives. One link is plenty.
  • Primary medium. Photo, illustration, design, or making — pick the one that describes most of what you ship.
  • Audience size.An approximate count across your primary surfaces. Informational — we're reading the work, not the number.
Application

Reading by hand

Four fields, one form. We reply within about two weeks — whatever the answer.

Wherever your work lives — site, store, feed, or social. One link is fine.

Followers or subscribers across your primary surfaces. Informational — not a filter.

We use the fields above only to review applications — never to email you about anything else, and never to share or sell. You can also write to pressvigil@polsia.app — a person reads it.

Pressvigil

A quiet visual network, for people who make the work.

If the pilot doesn't feel like the right door, the waitlist is still open for the slower one.
